The Sony XCG-CG40 is a 0.4MP GigE Vision camera featuring the IMX287 Pregius global shutter CMOS sensor, delivering 300 fps for high-speed, precise imaging. Compact and PoE-enabled, it supports advanced features like area gain, defect correction, LUT adjustments, and IEEE1588 for synchronized applications, making it ideal for demanding industrial and machine vision tasks.
Measuring 29 mm x 29 mm x 42 mm and weighing only 65 grams, the XCG-CG40 fits seamlessly into space-limited setups and is an excellent replacement for CCD-equipped cameras. It inherits the mounting dimensions of Sony's XCG-C series, making it highly compatible with existing systems. Power over Ethernet (PoE) and compliance with the GigE Vision 2.0 standard allow for simplified setup and integration. Advanced features like area gain, defect correction, Look Up Table (LUT) adjustments, and a 3 x 3 filter further enhance imaging flexibility and quality.
